The firm, which provides a range of media solutions to customers, worked in partnership with national paper merchant Paperlinx Media as part of the scheme.

Paperlinx measured the carbon footprint of Media Print Group and in turn balanced its emissions through The World Land Trust—a charity that ensures the conservation of plants, animals and natural communities in areas of risks around the world.

Paul Bussingham, business development manager at Media Print Group, says that the firm is totally committed to the environment and it forms a major part of its overall strategy.

Media Print Group can now help clients reduce the carbon impact of their corporate communications at no extra cost

“It is important for both Media Print Group and our clients that we have a strong environmental policy in place,” he explains.

He adds: “We are delighted to be able to partner Paperlinx and The World Land Trust in such a credible Carbon Balancing scheme.

“The fact that The World Land Trust are a charity and that monies donated go to help preserving critically threatened tropical forests is crucial to us.

“Many responsible organisations are looking for ways to reduce their carbon impact and to demonstrate their commitment to the environment.

"Media Print Group can now help clients reduce the carbon impact of their corporate communications at no extra cost.”
