The new Zechini kit is already being put to use at Precision’s Dagenham site

The Dagenham-based print company says it will use the new kit to expand its services and begin offering short run book production to customers.

Precision already counts the likes of American Express, Nestle, Jaguar Land Rover UK, Laura Ashley, Sainsbury’s and Emirates among its customers, but believes the new machinery—purchased from Friedheim International— will allow it to bring in more work.

Andy Scarpellis, chief executive for Precision says: “Due to Friedheim’s long standing reputation and the support that they can offer for the machines, and with our past experience with them servicing our older equipment, it’s the obvious choice when buying new equipment.”

The Zechini machines join Precision’s impressive array of finishing kit, including multi-finishers, high speed folders from MBO, multiple guillotines in a variety of sizes including two Baumann-Wohlenbergs, die-cutters, a B1 laminator, cutting and creasing machines from KAMA.

Simon Cox, sales specialist at Friedheim, adds: “It’s important to build relationships with forward thinking companies that are interested in investing in their future as well as for the rest of the industry, as a co-exhibitor of The Print Show, they have shown this to be the case.

“It helps that they have tremendous growth and great sales revenue.”
