Google’s head of design to speak at conference

There is considerable interest in the speakers lining up for the Independent Printing Industries Association conference this month.

The organisation are meeting up on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th June for their AGM and 2014 conference at Puckrup Hall in Tewkesbury and hale some top line speakers for the two day event.

Google’s Patrick Collister who is head of design at the internet giant will be talking about a world without paper. His talk clearly has a sense of humour citing the absolute necessity of paper when visiting the loo.

Reichert Dieter will outline the importance of new business models, changing of processes and strategic employing of technologies in communications are important steps into meeting the requirements in future communications. James Reece of the Real Adventure will explain why the future is about letting go and will outline some of the main technologies pertinent to printers and how to benefit from them today.

The IPIA say there are still places left for the event which also features a golf tournament on the Thursday.
