“I think where our strengths lie, as a smaller organisation, is that are very solution driven,” says Paul Davidson, Encore Machinery’s sales manager, adding: “Because we have a number of different product areas and expertise, we’ve done a lot of cross amalgamation between certain product lines.

“For example, if someone wants to produce a one-piece mailer, they might need to integrate a few different machines within one line to give them something bespoke that will set them apart. We do that very well and we have great relationships with a number of suppliers, so we can offer a complete solution across a range of brands.”

The company started out in 2001 by Mike Biggs as sole UK distributors for MB folding machines and has grown first by incorporating Shoei folding machines, and then a host of other brands.

Davidson continues: “We’ll have a new Bacciottini Pit Stop machine on our stand, which was launched at Drupa. It’s a 10,500 an hour creasing and folding system that will be running up to 450gsm, which I imagine will be of interest to some people.

“Recently we’ve taken on the BNG rotary die cutting machine, which is one of the machines we’ll be showing for the first time at the show. It has a three-cylinder system, which is quite unique for a rotary die cutter. We’ll also be displaying APR at the show and their tape application machines. So we’ve got quite a variety of different machines.”
The company hopes to appeal to those looking for a bespoke finishing solution, and will be on stand G05.
