The Argos Solutions F400 HD Cold UV Coater will be unveiled by Renz UK at The Print Show in September

Bullock says: “The Print Show has been a big success story and we are proud to support the show again this year. The organisers have done a fantastic job assembling the largest names in print and making it an event that can’t be missed regardless of the size of printers.”

In the run up to the event, which takes place at the Birmingham NEC in September, Renz and Argos Solutions have announced the launch of their new F400 HD Cold UV Coater, which will be unveiled at The Print Show.

Visitors will also be able to see the Punch 500 and Mobi 500 on stand C34, alongside a range of desktop punching and binding equipment for book and calendar work. Renz has also noted that The Print Show is the perfect time to showcase this equipment, because the year is heading towards the prime calendar production period.

Paul Simpson, sales manager at Renz, comments: “Argos Solutions have entered new territory with this new HD machine and the results are seriously impressive. It has all the features of previous Argos UV coaters, namely cold curing technology and very low cost per page, however this new HD gloss finish put this machine in a league of its own.”

Argos UV coaters use just two grams of coating per square metre compared to other manufacturers, and the LED UV lamp sleep mode ensures low power consumption.

Simpson continues: “Flood UV coating has over the years developed a bit of reputation of being unsafe due to the high temperature and high emissions used on traditional UV coating machines mainly manufactured in the Far East.

“There’s never been a better time to invest in UV coating. Not only are the running costs substantially cheaper than plastic lamination, there’s also the added benefit of a plastic free finish.”

Bullock adds: “For Renz, the partnership with Argos is a logical extension of our existing portfolio of high efficiency punching and binding machines for wire comb binding in the digital printing market segment.”
