The print company have utilised its new machinery for its Christmas campaign, where it created a calendar and festive box

With a working area of 1680mm x 3200mm, the Kongsberg x24 starter comes with the MultiCUT tool head, offering milling productivity, camera system, and two open modules where a variety of different tool inserts can be fitted allowing for quick turn around on a wide range of materials.

The EKSO Kongsberg starter enabled Pelican Print to create a unique Christmas box in-house for all of its customers with a selection of festive items that showcase some of its new capabilities.

We were looking for a way to bring a new aspect to the company. The X24 is definitely going to give us that competitive edge. The price point was right due to it being modular, we can grow the machine with our business. CMYUK has been great every step of the way; from sales to great on-site training. We can’t wait to get started on some new projects in 2019

Scott Brookes, managing director at Pelican Print says: “We were looking for a way to bring a new aspect to the company. The X24 is definitely going to give us that competitive edge. The price point was right due to it being modular, we can grow the machine with our business. CMYUK has been great every step of the way; from sales to great on-site training. We can’t wait to get started on some new projects in 2019.”

Pelican Print has been a loyal customer of CMYUK, the UK’s largest independent supplier of large-format digital printers, cutting equipment, and materials, for ten years.

Reflecting on this, senior digital sales consultant at CMYUK, Sarah Winterbottom, says: “It has been a pleasure working with and supplying Pelican Print again after supporting them into the world of digital ten years ago. They were one of the more forward-thinking litho printers at the time, becoming an early adopter, and it’s great to see them going from strength to strength.”
