Companies are investing more in management information systems (MIS) in order to become more cost-efficient and competitive, and following this trend, Imprint Business Systems is launching version 18 of its MIS software.

Wayne Beckett, sales and marketing director for Imprint Business Systems, says version 18 of Imprint MIS will bring critical data to customers more readily

The new software, which benefits from a refreshed look and feel, will give customers greater accessibility and visibility of information that is tailored to their needs.

“We’ve been developing version 18 for around 18 months now, responding to a large number of customer requests during that period,” says Wayne Beckett, sales and marketing director for Imprint Business Systems.

Some of the new features of the software include enhanced navigation around the system and shortcut buttons. Users can now access Online Shop Floor Data Collection from any smartphone or tablet, and through Live Factory Monitor users can track live job progress remotely.

There is an improved reminder panel within the CRM Console that has live information about jobs, meetings, and phone calls, which is integrated with Microsoft Outlook.

Beckett adds: “Our objective with the new version is to bring critical data more readily to the fingertips of our customers, and we are also bringing new functionality, reporting tools and a vibrant new aesthetic approach to the software.

“A huge amount of information goes into an MIS, but the job of an MIS should be to feed the right information back without the user having to search for it. With version 18 of the Imprint MIS we are confident we have made significant progress towards that goal.”
