New consultancy launched by InPrint co-founders

Frazer Chesterman and Marcus Timson are bringing together their extensive experiences in exhibitions and print to launch a new consultancy, aimed at inkjet and digital print companies.

Timson and Chesterman move into consulting the industry

Chesterman, formerly managing director of FESPA and Timson, who served as event director for the exhibition, both broke away from the event in 2011 and went on to establish InPrint under FM Brooks.

When Mack Brooks Exhibitions was acquired by Reed Exhibitions earlier this year, both Timson and Chesterman left the business to launch FM Future.

Their new venture will see them use their experiences to consult and advise print businesses looking to harness the power of inkjet and digital print and break into new markets.

Chesterman explains: “For the past 7 years we have enjoyed launching and developing events for the industrial and digital print technology sector.

There is no question that we are now at a key moment for industrial inkjet and digital print

“Our collaboration with brands, manufacturers, inkjet innovators, we believe, helped the development of industrial inkjet both technically and commercially. We see a continuing role for us to help inkjet grow by connecting it with new markets.”

Timson adds: “There is no question that we are now at a key moment for industrial inkjet and digital print. Many would say that we stand poised at the edge of the chasm.

“All of our recent research points to the fact that the biggest barrier to success is conservative industry and we see that our role is to bridge that gap and help inkjet innovators make the leap into new markets and develop new revenue streams. Only this time we will not be launching or running an exhibition.”

FM Future says it will aim to give the digital print community consultancy for thought leadership, storytelling, market research, insight, business development, talent acquisition and sales.
