BPIF unveils rebrand at members’ day

The British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) celebrated the achievements of its members at a special event, where the organisation also unveiled a new identity.

The new logo from the trade association uses a sans serif, minimal font, with the year it was established underneath – reflecting its deep-rooted history in representing the print industry.

Commenting on the rebrand, BPIF chief executive Charles Jarrold comments: “Since November we have been working on our vision as an organisation and ensuring that our brand image reflects what the BPIF is; a modern, membership based, business services association.

“I am delighted to share this with you today. It provides a modern presence with a nod to our heritage that aligns with our mission to be a thriving trade association, inspiring those around us to see opportunities for growth.”

President of the association, Darren Coxon, reflects on his role at the BPIF: “Being president is an honour and a privilege. Not for the pay because there isn’t any. Not for the extra work it brings nor the commitment it requires, but for the opportunity to give a bit back and help shape the future of our industry.”

The members’ day, hosted at the House of Commons on July 9th, also provided an opportunity to celebrate some of the achievements of its members.

Andrew Pearson of Graphic Packaging International was awarded the Kathy Woodward accolade for learning; children’s books illustrator Lewis Houghton was presented with the Victor Watson trophy; and Chad Noble of Communisis and Fiona Fawcett of Plewsy were both highly commended.

The Outstanding Contribution award went to ProCo’s chief executive officer, Jon Bailey.
