Tickling the industry pink

According to Think Pink Europe, breast cancer affects one in eight women, leading to 130,000 deaths each year. To raise awareness and money for this cause, International Paper has announced it will be running its Pink Ream campaign for the third year running.

Distinctive pink packages will be distributed with 10p from each pack going to breast cancer causes

First launched in 2017, the campaign aims to support programmes in Europe which help save lives from breast cancer through distributing HP Office paper in distinctive pink packaging.

For each Pink Ream sold, 10p will be donated to European Cancer research, awareness and prevention programmes.

International Paper is partnering with Think Pink Europe, which unites breast cancer campaigns across Europe, for a second year.

Last year, the campaign was awarded ‘Initiative of the Year’ by the European Office Products Awards, with over one million Reams sold across 16 European countries, raising over £267,000

The HP Office Pink Ream launches this month to coincide with worldwide Breast Cancer Awareness Month and is available through to the end of November.

Last year, the campaign was awarded ‘Initiative of the Year’ by the European Office Products Awards, with over one million Reams sold across 16 European countries, raising over £267,000.

Although the campaign has only been in action in Europe for two years, International Paper Europe, Middle East and Africa follows in the footsteps of its parent organisation in the US. Since its launch in 2007, it has raised more than $1m (approx. £800,000) for breast cancer awareness.
