British manufacturer of printing and converting solutions for the packaging industry, Edale, has appointed Luke Harris as its UK sales manager.
Joining from Fujifilm, Harris will be responsible for visiting UK customers and will work closely with office-based business development manager Louise Bailey to support Edale’s growing presence in the UK.
According to Edale, the appointment aligns with its commitment to having greater reach and more engagement with customers to provide machines that offer sustainable print options.
This is in order to adopt more sustainable printing processes and reduce plastic waste in the packaging sector.
“After operating in the commercial market for the best part of three and a half years at Fujifilm, the challenge of moving into the labels and packaging industry really excites me,” Harris explains.
“When the opportunity to work for Edale presented itself, it was an opportunity I couldn’t refuse. Who wouldn’t want to work for a British manufacturer which prides itself on the high quality of its presses, has a great reputation, and operates globally in the growth market of the printing industry?”

Nevertheless, Luke and the sales team are eager to provide support and printing solutions to help our customers through these challenges.
