KAS Paper Systems maps out Drupa plans

KAS Paper Systems has revealed that it is to use its attendance at this year’s Drupa to showcase its portfolio of enclosing equipment for envelopes and polywrapping.

The highlight on the KAS stand will be the new Mailmaster Eclipse, which will be showcased at an international event for the first time.

The machine has the ability to insert into C4/C5/DL at 8,000 envelopes per hour and also offers other features such as multiple sheet feeding at maximum speed, semi-automatic job changeover, secondary channel for feeding and reading a prime document, and Datalog tracking of all prime documents.

Also on display on the KAS stand will be the Mailwrap polywrapper, which the manufacturer says has been developed to fill a gap in the market for printers and direct mail companies to upgrade from lower speed kit without having to invest in high speed polywrappers.

The Mailwrap can handle widths from CD to over A4 with a maximum speed of 6,000 packs per hour, feeding from a single sheet up to 11mm thick booklets.
