Print’n’Finish Refreshed quenches print's appetite

Finishing systems manufacturer, Plockmatic Group, brought together the print industry this month to demonstrate the capabilities of a web-to-print solution.

In partnership with Konica Minolta, Premier Paper, and the IPIA (Independent Print Industries Association), Plockmatic held its ‘Print’n’Finish’ Refreshed event in the Morgana showroom in Milton Keynes.

Over the course of the day, the suppliers showcased a mix of print, finishing and packaging solutions with the event providing an opportunity for visitors to experience recently launched equipment for its first UK showing.

First, visitors had their names inputted int Flex 4 so that a personalised box could be produced containing a bottle of Bombay Sapphire gin. Then guest were given a tour around the Morgana showroom and were introduced to the stock that was going to be used.

After this, the sheet was printed onto a Konica Minolta Accurio C7100 and coated on a Morgana DigiCoater Pro 400. The sheet was then embellished using an MGI JETVARNISH 3D and cut using a Valiani Omnia flat-bed cutter.

In addition to the machines used, visitors were able to see the full range of Morgana products on display.
