Printful donates over £11,500 to Latvian charity

On-demand printing and fulfilment company Printful has donated more than €14,000 (£11,500) to an annual charity movement in Latvia to help create a more accessible environment for people with disabilities.

The Dod Pieci charity works to ensure the right of every person to live as independently as possible, pointing out that an inaccessible environment is an obstacle for 200,000 people in Latvia alone.

Printful donated €10,000 for a charity marathon run by a Latvian media personality and DJ Toms Grevins, in addition to €5 for each kilometre run by an employee in support of the charity, making a total of €14,106.

“I am thrilled with the involvement from our team in this run,” Printful’s chief people officer Santa Rozkalna said. “This donation from our colleagues coincides with a number of Printful values—to get involved in social issues, stand up for diversity and inclusion, and take care of oneself by moving.

“Our support reminds each of us that we are all making changes together.”
