Loftware details benefit to cloud labelling

The label software company has released a report giving seven benefits to embracing cloud printing.

Loftware, which has offices in North America, the UK, and Asia-Pacific, says embracing cloud labelling to design, manage, and print labels could be key to boosting business.

The new report, along with an upcoming webinar on April 7th at 10 am EDT, details how switching to cloud-based software could be an effective way to avoid label errors, inconsistencies, and high maintenance costs.

These are all problems that have affected the industry, especially as of late due to the many changes in trade and compliance seen through the globe.

Loftware has highlighted research from Gartner which states cloud spending has increased by 23.1% in 2021 to $332.3bn (£253.6m).

The report highlights being connected anywhere at anytime, flexible designs, better cost, and time management, along with better security and business growth as some of the benefits of label printing.

Loftware says: “Cloud-based labelling allows you to speed deployment and take fast, corrective actions to eliminate bottlenecks, improve time to market, and ensure compliance while future-proofing your labelling operations.”

Discussing the expansion the cloud opens up, Loftware adds: “In today’s business environment, manual processes represent barriers to growth and scale.

"However, once digitised in a cloud-based labelling solution, these manual processes quickly give way to the seamless exchange of data and allow companies to maintain existing systems and user interactions to improve efficiencies and scale labelling across their entire business ecosystem.”

The move to hybrid working models, along with a need for companies to become more fluid due to the effects of health scares, the environment, and social media, also means digital services from companies such as these have become more crucial than ever.

Loftware notes that the need for smaller IT teams, and more focused budgets means digital printing and labelling can allow users to design, manage, and print collaboratively, while also providing valuable business insight and more security.

The full report can be found at Loftware’s website, or at its webinar on April 7th, 2022.
