The IPIA Recognising Excellence Expo and Gala Dinner and Awards will take place on November 29th

Taking place on Thursday November 29th at the Leonardo Hotel and Conference Centre – Hinkley Island, the Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA) will host its annual Recognising Excellence expo and gala dinner.

Each year, the IPIA rounds of another year in industry with its Recognising Excellence event which features an expo and networking lunch followed by a gala dinner and awards night.

Running from 11am to 5pm, the Expo and Business Networking Hub allows visitors the chance to meet and engage with over 20 print technology and media exhibitors as well as form stronger connections over a buffet lunch.

The IPIA is also running a competition where each attendee collects stamps from each exhibitor they speak with and these are then entered into prize draws worth up to £450 and a year’s free IPIA membership.

The Expo gives attendees the chance to networking with over 20 print technology and media exhibitors

Kicking off at 7pm with a champagne reception, the Gala Dinner provides a chance for attendees to relax and network further as well as celebrate the achievements of the industry with the Recognising Excellence Awards at 9pm.

The evening will also feature the popular ‘Stand-up Bingo’ to raise money for The Printing Charity followed by live music from band Happy Hour.

Matthew Ruff, chair of the IPIA’s Events Subcommittee, says: “The wealth of information and education available to attendees during the Expo is very comprehensive, providing them with critical insights into how the latest print and media technology can support their growth or diversification ambitions.

“It is so important to take the time very so often to spend a day working on your business, and not just in it. The Networking Lunch is then a platform for attendees to talk directly to prospective customers – no matter which part of the supply chain they come from, and potentially generate new business and beneficial relationships.”

Ruff adds: “For those who would like to stay on for the evening festivities, we then have a wonderful programme of amazing food, live entertainment, celebration, and a chance to do further high-quality networking.”
