Football’s coming home with Moonpig
Greetings card giant Moonpig has launched a special range of printed products to celebrate the Lionesses’ victory at the 2022 Women’s Euro.

The collection includes birthday cards, congratulations cards and personalised cards, all of which have been inspired by the Lionesses’ and their incredible victory over Germany in the final of the 2022 Women’s Euro at the weekend.
Players Ella Toone, Alessia Russo, Jill Scott and Leah Williamson all feature in the designs, with some of the phrases on the cards running as a play on words on some of the players’ names.
These include “It’s your birthday! Let’s paint the Toone red” and “Drop it like it’s Scott”.
The new cards are available to purchase now in standard, large and giant sizes.
By beating Germany 2-1 after extra time, the Lionesses became the first English national team to win a major tournament since the men’s team won the 1966 World Cup.
Toone opened the scoring in the first half before Lina Magull equalised 10 minutes before full-time. However, Chloe Kelly wrote her name in English football folklore by scoring the winner in extra-time, with England holding out for the win.
