Drytac education from A Sign Design
Australian sign-maker A Sign Design used Drytac ViziPrint Deco + to produce a range of eye-catching interior window graphics for the Queensland University of Technology (QUT).

The design was based on the bark of the Melaleuca tree
The project required the production of privacy window graphics for the QUT premises, but without full block out in order to allow for some visibility through the windows.
A Sign Design based its design around the bark of the Melaleuca, a species of trees native to Australia, which gave a completely new look to the windows, but still allowed light to pass through.
Working with Shann DPM, an exclusive distributor of Drytac films in Australia, A Sign Design opted to use the Drytac ViziPrint Deco + scratch-resistant window film for the project, printing the design using its Océ ARIZONA 1260 XT UV printer.
Anele Christian, print and production technician at A Sign Design, comments: “We were looking for a UV-printable, optically-clear window film that wouldn’t be easily scratched or damaged during and after the installation process.
“DPM brought us a sample of ViziPrint Deco + scratch-resistant media. After testing, we sent a job out to be installed and the feedback we received from our team was very positive.
“The fact that the media really is scratch resistant and easy to install is a huge benefit to us. The need for re-prints is massively reduced, making the whole process much more cost effective.”
