Supplier of sustainable wood fibre products, Sappi, will demonstrate a selection of its high-quality papers at FESPA 2024.

Included in the company’s offering will be sublimation papers for transfer printing and self-adhesive label and release liners for self-adhesive applications.

The company has opted for the theme ‘Meet the Experts – Come in and level up’ which Claudia Pöckl, marketing communications specialist at Sappi Europe says is an open invitation to visitors to ask questions, receive technical support, and to discuss new projects with the Sappi team.

For its sublimation paper offering, Sappi regularly expands and modernises its state-of-the-art technology and last year invested in two new paper converting machines alongside a new and fully automated packaging line specifically for dye-sublimation papers at its Carmignano plant in Italy.

In terms of self-adhesive applications, Sappi has over five decades of direct product experience in this area and at FESPA 2024, the company will be presenting its CCK papers which feature “outstanding lay-flat properties” as well as its glassine papers.

Visitors will be able to get their hands on a range of packaging samples inclyding Sappi’s high-quality virgin fibre Fusion liner papers for corrugated boards and Algro paperboards for premium packaging applications.

“Visitors at trade fairs greatly benefit from both the visual and tactile experiences,” says Pöckl, adding: “By not only seeing our papers but also touching them, they can directly grasp their high quality.”

Sappi can be found on Stand A72 in Hall 1.
