Martin Fairman joins Kyocera after spending 12 years with Lexmark

Fairman takes on the role having previously served as UK and Ireland managing director and channel director at Lexmark, bringing with him more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in technology organisations.

During a 12-year spell with Lexmark, Fairman occupied a number of sales and channel roles, prior to which he held leadership positions at Samsung and Konica Minolta.

“The last year has thrown up a number of challenges for businesses operating in the print and document management space, but Kyocera has continued to deliver despite these pressures,” Fairman said.

“The company now has ambitious plans to further expand its product and service portfolio, offering a range of holistic solutions that cover areas such as cloud, disaster recovery, automated workflow software and full managed ICT services.”

Rod Tonna-Barthet, chief executive at Kyocera Document Solutions UK, adds: “The technology industry has always been fast-paced, and we always focus on evolving to suit the changing needs of our customers.

“The pace of change has been accelerated even further by the pandemic, so our core priority as a business is to continue giving our customers and partners the tools they need to build effective, digitally focused workplaces in the long term.

“Martin brings all the experience and knowledge we need to make this happen, so we’re extremely pleased to have him join the team. His experience, leadership skills and knowledge of technology are second to none, and we’re very much looking forward to him getting started.”
