The Virtual Drupa event runs from April 20th to 23rd
Around 17,000 people from 155 countries have signed up for the Virtual Drupa event, which runs from April 20th to 23rd and features 212 exhibitors from across the industry.
Registered attendees will have access to a conference area and live web sessions, as well as the chance to interact with exhibitors including Bobst, EFI, Esko, Fujifilm, Heidelberg, KBA, Kodak, Komori, Konica Minolta and Xeikon.
Visitors who were unable to follow presentations live will have the opportunity to access the sessions on demand via the Video Library and network with exhibitors via Matchmaking in the Networking Plaza.
Day one of the event saw 222,000 page impressions from all over the world, as well as 7,500 visitors taking part in the conference programme.
Sabine Geldermann, director print technologies for Drupa, comments: “We are pleased that the interaction within the community has started so positively.
“The impressive range of valuable knowledge transfer in the Conference Area and the Exhibition Space, as well as the exchange with business partners via matchmaking in the Networking Plaza, are being excellently received.”
The main Drupa show had been due to take place last years, but was cancelled due to Covid-19. The event will return in its physical form in 2024.
