Phil Hallam, operations director of C&T, celebrates the double accreditation

The new ISO 9001 Quality Management System accreditation covers the manufacture of extruded and other semi-manufactured products for the paper board and carton industry.

C&T says that the certificate will result in several positive steps for the company, including improving efficiency and standing out from our competitors.

The other accreditation – ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (ESM) – focuses on the management of environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner, with the aim of contributing to wider sustainability.

Simon Shenton, managing director at C&T, says: “This certificate confirms our commitment to quality and sustainability. Future sustainability is a driving force for C&T, and we continue to strive to meet our objective to reduce manufacturing waste by up to 40% by 2022.

“This makes our ESM certificate particularly momentous to us, as we take this next exciting step to further improving our environmental performance.”
