Premier Paper commits to long-term growth

Premier Paper Group has reiterated its commitment to long-term growth, setting out how the company continues to invest in its sites across the UK to support its goals.

The firm recently opened a new 63,000sq ft warehouse in Dartford to serve as its central operation for London and the whole of the South East, while other sites in the region means it has 90,000sq ft of warehouse space in the area.

This month, Premier will also more than double the size of its Bristol operation to meet the needs of its customers. The site will boast 35,000sq ft of warehouse capacity, with the ability to hold over 10,000 pallets.

Over 5,000 tonnes of product are held in Bristol, supported by a further 40,000 tonnes of product held in the Premier network, while 17 Premier-owned and liveried delivery vehicles service the South West region.

Elsewhere, the Washington operation in the North East, and its satellite logistics hub in Carlisle, services customers throughout the region and into the Scottish borders.

David Jones, group marketing director at Premier, says: “Premier is a very agile company and we are able to move quickly in order to support the changing needs of our customers.

“This has led to a significant investment programme in developing market sectors and in a number of geographical areas across the UK where we are refining our service offer and increasing the choice of products available for our customers.”
