Purchased through Friedheim International, MBM Print took delivery of the machine at its facility in East Kilbride in April.
The core reason behind the investment, MBM Print says, was to improve its productivity and reduce operating costs, with the Palamides device now running alongside a range of digital, web and lithographic printing machines.
Installing the automatic delivery machine means the number of staff required to run the company’s saddle stitching machine has been reduced, thus freeing up employees to take on other jobs.
With more staff now available for other tasks, MBM Print explains this means now has the potential to operate faster, allowing it to deliver work quicker and take on additional jobs.
