New personalised DTF transfer for footwear

TheMagicTouch wants businesses to start ‘putting their best foot forward’ with its new DTF transfer and toner-based processes

TheMagicTouch continues to thrive in the world of personalisation as they provide customers with the opportunity to make footwear unique and tailored to the individual. The company offers this method by using its new DTF (direct-to-film) transfer and toner-based processes, which makes it an easy task to decorate a wide variety of shoes.

Jim Nicol, managing director at TheMagicTouch, explains: “25 years ago, we were very fortunate to engage with many leading established shoe and fashion footwear brands that wanted to create limited edition designs and incorporate full colour images.”

Today, the company offers various full-colour transfer options for the decoration of all types of footwear.

Personalisation can be applied to virtually any type of trainers, sliders, boots, work shoes, and sandals. This is due to the combination of both toner-based and DTF transfers that can be applied with hand-held irons designed for intricate transfer applications and used extensively within the craft market.

The transfers can be applied to almost any part of the footwear, with a very low risk of damage or rejects. If a customer wishes to remove the application, they can by using traditional flex and HTV removal sprays.

Jim Nicol adds: “The offerings from some of the world-leading sports shoe brands is restricted to simple single colour names with a limited choice of positioning. Customers can now create custom footwear easily, quickly and profitably”.
