Digital press manufacturer, Landa, has officially announced the appointment of Simon Lewis as its new vice president of marketing.
Lewis enters the role with over 30 years of experience in the digital printing industry. This includes having previously worked for HP for 15 years, rising the ranks to head the manufacturer’s Indigo Channel strategy and programs worldwide.
In his new role, Lewis will lead the company’s global marketing strategy, focusing on driving brand growth, customer engagement, and market expansion. According to Landa: “His leadership will focus on delivering impactful messaging, educational resources, and strategic campaigns that empower customers to maximise the benefits of Landa’s technology in their businesses.”
The company has highlighted Lewis’ expertise in strategic marketing, product positioning, and business development as being key reasons behind the appointment, specifically in supporting “disruptive technologies”.
The appointment comes as part of Landa’s goals to scale operations and drive global demand for its Landa S11 and S11P Nanographic presses. The company’s B1 solution is designed for mainstream commercial, packaging, and publishing applications.
The presses also utilise Landa’s newly developed PrintAI module which utilises artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance print quality, particularly for folding cartons and commercial print applications requiring micro text and other brand protection features.
Gil Oron, chief executive officer of Landa, says: “We are delighted to welcome Simon to our executive team. His extensive industry expertise and marketing acumen will be invaluable in driving our business forward.
"As we scale and accelerate production to meet global demand, it is essential to strengthen our exceptional team with top-tier talent like Simon – individuals who bring passion, expertise, and a shared vision for our future.”
Speaking of his appointment, Lewis adds: “I am excited to join Landa Digital Printing at such a pivotal time.
“The demand for our Landa S11 and S11P presses underscores the industry's shift toward high-quality, high-speed digital production to meet its many challenges. But beyond technology, our true mission is to help our customers seize new opportunities, overcome challenges, and drive profitable growth.”
