The Stationers’ Company Innovation Excellence Awards 2025 has opened for entry, celebrating innovations in the UK’s communications and content industries.

The awards are open to a range of sectors including packaging, paper making and converting, printing, newspaper and magazine publishing, greeting cards, and office products.

Judges review a set of criteria including how the innovations improve customer experience, how it meets an unmet need in the market, the strength of customer response, and scalability for start-ups.

Awards are handed out in six categories including Business Process, Customer Experience, Education Technology, and Start-Ups.

The Stationers’ Company has also announced a new tiered sponsorship plan as part of the awards, with commitments available from £1,000 upwards.

Entries are judged by a panel of professionals offering a variety of relevant specialisms.

The panel includes Amy Hutchinson, chief executive officer of BOSS Federation, a trade association for the business supplies industry. Debbie Waldron-Hoines, managing director of management services company, Avant-Tout, will also be judging entries, as will Doug Wills, managing editor for The Evening Standard and The Independent.

The awards will be presented at a live event in October at the Stationers’ Hall venue in the City of London.
