Ricoh UK, a provider of integrated digital services along with print and imaging solutions has detailed its latest partnership with personalised print producer, CCA Occasions.

The Lancashire-based company has a long history in the production of greeting cards and stationery and has recently acquired the right to produce short-run gift cards containing magnetic strips for a number of its clients.

CCA Occasions worked with Ricoh UK to acquire a range of new production print technology including RICOH Pro C9500 (135ppm) with N-70 Fiery controller, 960mm banner feed, vacuum feed, high-capacity stacker, production staple finisher and Auto Colour Diagnostics Units.

Gary Taylor, general manager at CCA Occasions, says: “Partnering with Ricoh has been a critical step in planning for our future and long-term business strategy. As we expand into new business ventures and territories, this strategic investment and ongoing support from Ricoh will be crucial for our growth and future success.”

This latest investment demonstrates the continued relevance of personalised print as well as short-run retail products. CCA Occasions sees its new technology as a way of expanding revenue streams and enhancing company efficiency.

Tim Carter, commercial print director at Ricoh Graphic Communications, adds: “CCA Occasions have a long history of success in Lancashire and across the UK, and we’re delighted to be partnering with a print business whose roots go back 100 years.

“As with all our partners, we’ve built a strong relationship and worked tirelessly to thoroughly understand the company’s business requirements - not just today but, most importantly, in the future as the business is looking to expand into new markets.”
