BrunelPrint now offers all of its products with a carbon neutral rating

The company, together with its Brunelone online business, now offers all products with carbon neutral certification, at no additional cost to its customers.

John Tugman, director of commercial print at BrunelPrint, comments: “There are a lot of misconceptions about what it means to be environmentally-friendly in the printing world—and a perception that it is always going to cost more.

“For us, now, there is no question: this is the only way we print —all of our printing and promotional materials, all of our processes and our entire business will not have a negative effect on the environment – and it won’t cost our customers any more.

We believe this is simply the right, responsible way to do business

“We believe this is simply the right, responsible way to do business.”

BrunelPrint secured the rating by working in partnership with ClimatePartner, which helped the company assess the impact of it business, and locate projects in Kenya and Papua New Guinea to fund as part of its carbon offsetting.

The company already had a number of green-related certifications, including the ISO14001 environmental standard, as well as recognition from both the Forest Stewardship Council and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification.
