The new ColdLam 1650 SW is built on the success of the ColdLam 1650 technology

Building on its ColdLam 1650 technology, Neschen has revealed the new Neschen ColdLam 1650 SW laminator.

The latest model is said to combine all the advantages of the successful ColdLam 1650 model whilst “setting new benchmarks” in terms of handling and user-friendliness. These new features come in the form of two swing-out shafts which allow for easy and careful operation for operators and substrates.

Another standout feature of the new model is the integrated compressor which operates without the need for a separate compressed air connection. This constant pressure on the rollers means the medium and laminate are guaranteed a “perfect straight run”.

The ColdLam 1650 SW can process a range of materials from cardboard, photo paper, and MDF panels and the feed table features an integrated unwind tray for easy media handling.

Other features include roll-to-roll functionality and processing speeds of up to 8m/min.

“The Neschen ColdLam 1650 SW is more than a laminator – it is the answer to our customers’ needs for advanced technology and superior ergonomics,” says Stephan Liegerer, head of the Machine Department at Neschen.

“Despite the slightly additional space required for the swing-out shafts, it provides an unbeatable gain in comfort and efficiency in day-to-day operations. Additionally, it helps protect the backs of our employees, contributing actively to health protection.”

Liegerer continues: “With the introduction of the Neschen ColdLam 1650 SW, we complete our portfolio, offering a comprehensive selection of laminators that meet the highest standards and all budgets.”
