The Duplo 600i will replace an existing 500i system at The Print Centre and will be used to complement the company’s digital and litho presses, as well as further increase productivity.
Ben Nixon, managing director at The Print Centre, explains that the company is a long-time user of Duplo equipment and is confident about what the latest piece of kit will be able to offer.
“The Duplo 600i is a powerful, intuitive booklet system that is perfect for our needs as we ramp up capacity,” he comments.

“The fully automated stitching, folding and trimming solution using ultra sonic technology combines the DSC-10/60i Collator Towers with the DBM-600 bookletmaker and trimmer.
“A key benefit will be providing us with the ability to produce A4 landscape format work with a lay-flat finish, which is increasingly being demanded by our customers.
“Within the first few weeks of installation, we’ve made considerable savings by doing the work in-house, instead of outsourcing, for what is an important and growing market for us.”
