Müller Martini will present four highly automated industrial production lines integrated with the Connex workflow at drupa 2024.

Under the theme ‘Driving the Digital Transformation’, Müller Martini will take up 1,400sq m of space at the exhibition to demonstrate four production lines.

Demonstrated will be the Antaro Digital perfect binder, SigmaLine Compact, Primera PRO saddle stitcher, and Ventura MC 200 thread sewing machine, all integrated in the Connex workflow.

The company will use live demonstrations of a range of printing products to demonstrate the personalised and modular offering to customers from Müller Martini.

“The decisive factor is increasingly not the individual machine, but several machines in an integrated production system,” explains Bruno Müller, chief executive officer of Müller Martini.

“This makes the higher-level workflow, which dynamically controls the production process, an important success factor. We are subsequently well prepared to support our customers in digital transformation with our extensive range of solutions which we have expanded in a targeted manner over the years.”

Müller Martini’s team of experts will be on hand to advise visitors holistically and explore the ways they can strengthen their business through digitalisation.

Sustainability

In addition to live demonstrations of its latest innovations, Müller Martini will be showcasing its Smart Factory which utilises intelligent on-demand production to boost sustainability.

The company’s Finishing 4.0 development strategy means that little or no adjustments are required for job changes, saving time and minimising start-up waste. In addition, on-demand production saves paper, ink, solvents, water, and energy, which accounts for over 95% of a print product’s carbon footprint.

Müller Martini will be demonstrating how its latest machines implemented with Connex workflow can help to reduce the environmental footprint and increase profitability on the Müller Martini booth and at the ‘Touchpoint
Sustainability’ in Hall 14.

Drupa 2024 will take place from May 28th to June 7th in the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre, Germany.
