Konica Minolta has promised to “shape the future of label printing, packaging, and industrial printing” with the launch of 20 solutions at drupa 2024.

The company will have one of the largest stands at the exhibition taking 2,400sq m of space and six interlinked areas across two floors.

A host of partners will join the manufacturer including MGI (MGI Digital Printing Systems), Industrial Inkjet, Plockmatic, Acco, and Fiery.

Included in the significant lineup will be the next-generation AccurioJet 60000 high-speed UV inkjet press capable of 6,000 sheets per hour and duplex printing; and the
AccurioPress C84hc which uses high chroma toner for vivid colour.

Konica Minolta will also introduce MYIRO colour management tools for graphics arts applications developed by Konica Minolta’s Sensing Business Unit.

MGI will show how foiling, varnishing, printing, folding, and drying can be combined into a single fully integrated production run as well as showcasing its new JetSeal and in-line die-cutter. The company will also launch an advanced version of its AccurioPro Colour Manager software suite.

A hot topic across all corners of the industry currently is artificial intelligence (AI) and Konica Minolta will be running fully automated production lines driven by AI as well as the “never-before-seen” use of robotics and the premiere of a Cobot arm.

Jon Hiscock, head of Professional Print Business Unit at Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK, comments: “As a major player in digital production printing it is our mission to promote and support the shift from analogue to digital print. In doing so, we build a world where high-value-added printed materials are created efficiently with minimal environmental impact.

Drupa 2024 will take place from May 28th to June 7th in the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre, Germany.
