Kite Packaging has announced the addition of four new shrink wrapping machines to its range of product offerings, designed to deliver improved efficiency and reliability

Packaging distributor, Kite Packaging, has announced an upgrade to its range of shrink wrap machines.
The new range features four models from Robopac, namely the Micra L, Micra M, 5040 M, and 6050 M. The new machines are designed to deliver improved efficiency and reliability in comparison to previous ranges.
The Robopac Micra L shrinks and seals up to a reported 300 products per hour. It includes a manual sealing bar with automatic return and an impulse sealing system with automatic time adjustment. It can handle products up to 800mm x 500mm x 200mm in size and 18kg in weight.
The Micra M includes all of the features of the Micra L but designed for products up to 500mm x 380mm x 200mm and 15kg.
The Robopac 5040 M has double the top speed of the Micra machines, capable of sealing up to 600 products per hour. It can support reels up to a maximum weight of 31kg.
The 6050 M has an even larger reel weight limit than the 5040 M, accommodating reels up to 37kg. It is also equipped with a larger 600mm x 500mm sealing bar, in comparison to the 6050 M’s 500mm x 400mm bar.
Both the 5040 M and 6050 M come with manual and automatic sealing bar options, designed for more flexible operation.
All the machines are covered by a 12-month warranty by Kite Packaging. Those interested in purchasing the items have been encouraged to visit Kite’s website.
The shrink wrap machines are among a range of recent updates to Kite’s product offerings.
In December 2024, it announced the launch of a new pallet truck, designed for the safer handling of palletised loads.
In September of the same year, Kite released a new case erector machine, designed to automate the process of forming and assembling corrugated cardboard boxes, or cases, from flat, unassembled sheets.
