Google Analytics

One of our core principles at Print Monthly is to be completely transparent in all that we do, including how we report back to advertisers on their campaigns.

You will often hear phrases such as ‘hits’, ‘page impressions’, ‘views’ and ‘click throughs’ thrown around by online publications. While all of these may sound and look impressive, it is often unclear as to what these figures correspond to in terms of the success of your adverts.

Print Monthly offers an honest and in-depth way of presenting these figures in the form of ‘Google Analytics’. By using our dedicated login details, you can see exactly how many people are visiting the Print Monthly website, where they are located and the types of content they are viewing.

Four step process

To access Google Analytics for Print Monthly and Print Tube, you must first have or register for a Gmail account.

When you have a valid Gmail address, simply send an email at stats@linkpublishing.co.uk to request access to our Google Analytics.

Once we receive your request, we will create a Google analytics login account for you using your Gmail address and email you to confirm access. You only need to register once.

When logged into your Gmail account, type ‘Google Analytics’ into the Google search bar and access Google Analytics by clicking the relevant link. You will then have access to our Google analytics account.

It’s all about unique users

Ultimately, it is all about unique users. One of these represents a single computer or IP address and does not replicate itself, so no matter how many times this unique user comes back to a website in a given period, they are only registered as a single visitor.

So, if 10 people visit Print Monthly in a single month, even if they come back 10 times a day, every day, our unique users for that month is still 10. This data is readily available on our Google Analytics, telling you how many individual buyers are actually looking at an online resource and ultimately your product.
