Global non-profit organisation, Girls Who Print, has launched its seventh annual ‘Print HERstory Month’, coinciding with International Women’s Day on Saturday March 8th.

This year’s Print HERstory Month has been curated to amplify women's voices while championing the United Nations' 2025 theme of International Women’s Day – “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.”

Tomorrow (March 7th), Girls Who Print will host an online conference for International Women's Day under the United Nations theme, with industry leaders and changemakers providing insights into the latest trends and opportunities in the print and graphic communications sector.

The conference aims to connect professionals, advocates, and peers dedicated to advancing women's rights and empowerment. The event is free and men have been encouraged to attend.

The International Women's Day conference takes place from 1pm to 8pm GMT. Those wishing to take part can apply at the following link.

Speaking about the HERstory campaign, Kelly Mallozzi, vice president and program director, says: “Girls Who PrintHERstory Month isn't just another industry event – it's a movement.

“It's about celebrating the incredible women who drive, innovate, and transform the printing industry. It's about sharing our stories, lifting each other, and inspiring the next generation of women to see print as a place where they can thrive.”

Women in print worldwide have also been invited to share their stories and reshare the posts of participants using the #PrintHERstoryMonth hashtag across social media channels.

Deborah Corn, executive director of Girls Who Print, adds: “As we celebrate Print HERstory Month, we recognise the progress women have made in print while acknowledging the work still to be done.

“This year’s theme resonates deeply with our mission to empower women worldwide by cultivating a vibrant and supportive global community that drives innovation, fosters mentorship and collaboration, fuels career growth, and helps secure the future of print.”

In January, Girls Who Print announced its formal transition into a global non-profit organisation, launch a series of regional chapters, as well as a membership program designed to empower women throughout the printing industry.
