Girls Who Print, the print industry’s largest network for women, is hosting a large schedule of events at FESPA Global Print Expo 2025, including the official launch of Girls Who Print Europe.

First founded in 2009 as a group on LinkedIn, Girls Who Print has expanded into an international network supporting women in diverse sectors within the wider print industry.

The organisation, run by executive director, Deborah Corn, alongside vice president and programme director, Kelly Mallozzi, announced its formal transition into a global non-profit earlier this year.

These events include an official lunch and networking event, hosted on Wednesday May 7th from 12:30pm to 2pm at the Messe Berlin. The free event, which is limited to 100 attendees, is designed as a networking experience where meaningful conversations meet actionable insights.

Attendees will engage in roundtable discussions with leaders who are shaping the future of print, gain new perspectives on navigating industry challenges, and discover how Girls Who Print’s programs and resources can empower professionals.

All FESPA attendees and exhibitors are welcome to attend by registering for the event online.

The lunch will also mark the official launch of Girls Who Print Europe, expanding the organisation’s reach and impact across the region.

Alongside Corn and Mallozzi, speakers will include Nicole Spencer, managing director of RMC Digital Print, Danna Drion, general manager of marketing and product management at Mimaki Europe, and Jennifer Kolloczek, senior director of marketing and innovation at Canon EMEA.

A range of speaking sessions with Deborah Corn will also take place at the exhibition.

This includes a talk at the Personalisation Experience, a co-located event running alongside FESPA Global Print Expo, titled ‘Lock Down Profits by Selling the Security of Print, and the Power of Personalisation’, taking place on Wednesday, May 7th at 2:30pm.

The talk discusses digital overload, data breaches, and how to use personalisation to build long-term customer relationships and grow revenue.

A student conference event by Corn will also take place, titled ‘The Power of Print to Wow the World’, taking place on Friday May 9th at 11am.

In the session, Corn takes a tour of print applications, technology mashups, and sustainability breakthroughs.

Another Girls Who Print networking event will take place on Thursday May 8th at 3pm at the ‘Club FESPA’ venue inside the exhibition space.

The event, open to all attendees and exhibitors, aims to connect leaders and print professionals from around the world in a casual setting.

Speaking of the events, Corn says: “We’re incredibly grateful to FESPA for supporting Girls Who Print and giving us a global platform to expand our mission.

“Launching Girls Who Print Europe at FESPA 2025 is a major milestone, and we’re proud to align with the FESPA Foundation and its Print For Good initiative. Together, we’re working to empower people and create lasting, positive change for the industry.”

For this year’s event, The Federation of European Screen Printers Associations (FESPA) announced the launch of The FESPA Foundation, a new sister organisation to FESPA dedicated to encouraging sustainable practices.

The FESPA Foundation has encouraged exhibitors of FESPA Global Print Expo to produce printed applications that can enrich educational environments for children in underprivileged communities, thereby reducing printed waste from FESPA exhibitions worldwide.
