Paper and board supplier Elliott Baxter and Company (EBB) has announced the launch of a dedicated division to serve the needs of the publishing industry, further expanding its service offering to the print and paper industries.

The new division, part of EBB’s wider growth plans, will utilise EBB’s full range of publishing papers as well as what the company refers to as a deep understanding of the sector’s unique demands, with a fleet of support and stock management solutions to publishing businesses across the UK.

EBB’s publishing portfolio includes a broad selection of coated, uncoated, and bookwove papers from manufacturers across Europe. Products are supplied on an indent basis, with the option to explore customised logistics and warehousing solutions to suit individual business needs.

The coated papers range includes a plethora of Magno and Galerie options from Sappi including gloss, matt, fine, and silk, as well as Leipa’s Mag Plus matt and Mag Plus gloss papers.

Its uncoated publishing papers include Lessebo Design Smooth and Hellefoss Book Paper, with Clairbook Bookwove and Tambrite and Carte Lumina cover boards also included in the range.

Commenting on the launch, David Tennent, sales director for EBB, says: “With many years of experience stocking and selling paper, we are excited to bring our unique service and stock management skills to this sector.

“The publishing industry has distinct requirements, and our new division is designed to meet those needs with precision and reliability.”
