Print finishing manufacturers, Duplo UK and C.P. Bourg, have joined forces, with Duplo becoming the manufacturer’s distribution partner in the UK

Duplo UK has announced a new strategic partnership with global finishing technology specialist, C.P. Bourg, becoming its distribution partner in the UK as of August 1st, 2025.
The agreement strengthens the alliance between the two print finishing manufacturers, with Duplo also recently appointed as C.P. Bourg’s distributor in France.
The full C.P. Bourg range will now be available through Duplo in the UK with full sales, service, and support delivered by Duplo’s nationwide customer service and engineering team.
C.P. Bourg focuses on in-line booklet making and perfect binding systems designed for seamless integration with digital presses from manufacturers including Canon, HP, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, and Xerox.
This partnership will significantly enhance Duplo’s portfolio, with the aim of cementing its position as a leading supplier of automated print finishing solutions in the UK. Its portfolio now ranges from multi-finishers, die-cutters, and perfect binders to inline and nearline booklet makers.
Last month, Duplo UK also reported on the first UK purchase of its recently released Duplo iSaddle SENSHI saddle stitcher.
The machine has been engineered for ease of use, with automated job changes, barcode-driven automation, and touchscreen controls designed to reduce reliance on skilled operators
Speaking of the new C.P. Bourg partnership, Martyn Train, managing director of Duplo UK, says: “Whether it’s robust, production-grade inline booklet making with square spine functionality, or high-quality perfect binding solutions for digital workflows, C.P. Bourg’s technology complements our existing range perfectly.
“Their build quality and engineering excellence align naturally with Duplo’s Japanese automation and innovation ethos. I’m particularly excited to be taking customers to C.P. Bourg’s state-of-the-art demonstration centre in Brussels in the coming months – it’s the perfect place to experience the power of these systems first-hand.”
A joint statement from Charles Bourg, chief executive office of C.P. Bourg, and Dan Attew, EMEA and Asia Pacific sales director of the company, reads: “The Duplo and C.P. Bourg products complement each other in many areas which I believe makes us stronger together.
“We’re really excited about this new partnership and look forward to continuing to help our UK customers drive innovation and efficiencies in their businesses.”
HEIDELBERG also recently announced that it is integrating post-press solutions from C.P. Bourg into its Jetfire 50 ecosystem in order to extend its portfolio for industrial digital printing.
The announcement means Jetfire 50 customers can benefit from a single source for sales, software, service, and consulting.
