With The Print Show back, and seemingly bigger than ever, Print Monthly takes a look at The Knowledge Zone speaker area, picking out some of the sessions you will not want to miss on day two and three of this year’s event.
The third instalment of The Knowledge Zone branded area, this year’s edition is as packed as ever, with organisers having drafted in a host of experts to deliver some though-provoking sessions that look set to leave visitors with plenty of ideas to take away.
Day two kicks off in similar fashion to day one, with AI the first topic up for discussion. Simon Cooper, chief executive officer of Solopress, will take a look at the environmental impact of AI in print and its long-term impact for print companies.
At midday, The Printing Charity will be hosting an importance ‘Knowledge Exchange Live’ on workplace wellbeing, before the effervescent Deborah Corn takes to the stage at 1pm for a look at selling the security of print and the power of personalisation.
Next up is an intriguing session on future-proofing your business, with insight from the Online Print Coach Colin Sinclair McDermott, Howden’s Luke Wildey, and David Bunker of Compass Business Finance, under the watchful eye of Fujifilm’s Mark Stephenson.
Day two concludes with a look at using your website as a sales tool, led by Venture Banners.
Onto the final day of the show, the schedule begins with Jack Good of Reuseabox and how businesses can break away from the long-established take-make-dispose model and unlock the full potential of a purpose-driven economy.
Mark Bison will then offer insight into 50 years of BISON, mapping out its route to success from midday, before the Online Print Coach returns to the Knowledge Zone for a live edition of his Printerview series, featuring Nicole Spencer of RMC Digital Print.
The penultimate session of this year’s show will see Matt Hanley of MTWO lead a panel talk on initiatives encouraging young people into print, before the show closes with a discussion about the opportunities for women in the industry.
“What we have tried to do is cover as many major talking points as possible, while offering those in attendance the opportunity to speak with our experts about these topics to gain even more insight,” event director Chris Davies says.
