Resolute DTF has hired Nick Macfarlane as its new head of customer relations as part of plans to expand and strengthen its customer base

Direct-to-film (DTF) press manufacturer, Resolute, has boosted its ranks with the appointment of a new head of customer relations.
Resolute has hired Nick Macfarlane in the role, who has been in the print industry since 2007. His previous roles in print include as product trainer, account manager, and sales specialist for companies including Ricoh UK, Kornit Digital, and Inkcups.
Speaking about his new role, Macfarlane says: “I’ll aim to build upon our already fantastic relationships and strengthen our existing bonds.
“The key lesson from my 20-year journey is clear: when we engage with all customers, including new prospects, as a true partner instead of a traditional supplier or buyer, we proactively drive mutual growth and success.”
Resolute’s operations director, Rachel Marsh, adds: “We value our customer base at Resolute, many of whom have been long-term loyal customers, so appointing Nick to be their champion within our organisation is a natural step.
“Colin and I have worked alongside Nick in his previous roles and he has real passion for our industry and engaging with the customers he supports. We are thrilled to have him join us at Resolute.”
Resolute demonstrated a full range of its machinery at the recent Print Show 2025 including its Auto DTF Carousel, which can reportedly produce up to 400 finished shirts per hour.
