Cellogo utilises additional transport and logistics capacity from finishing specialist, Celloglas

Print finishing specialist, Celloglas, has launched Cellogo, a logistics solution catering specifically for the print and packaging industry.

Cellogo, which is an expansion of Celloglas’ inhouse logistics service, will be managed by recently hired transport director Marc Littlestone, who comes to the role with 50 years of previous experience in print logistics.

Littlestone says: “As the cost of transports continues to rise, we needed to find a way of retaining what is still the most cost effective print pallet service in the UK.

“It therefore made sense to utilise the additional capacity we have on our lorries. Print transportation is a specialist operation. Not many haulage companies understand how to handle and transport print safely – we do.”

Celloglas already boasts a near national coverage, with locations in Glasglow, Leeds, Leicester and Reading. According to the company, it is continually investing in its fleet with new additions being added to handle larger loads and further expansion planned in the near future.

Existing  Celloglas customers can benefit from a loyalty discount on Cellogo, with sameday, next-day, or economy 48-hour services available.

The service also offers real-time updates including live tracking and proof of delivery. Enhanced insurance coverage is also provided at £6,500 per tonne.

Celloglas’ core finishing offerings include varnishing, lamination, and special effect finishes, with the company working in sectors including packaging, point-of-sale (POS), and publishing.
