Rod Tonna-Barthet has been hired by Xeretec Group as its new non-executive chairman of the board, who is a previous president and CEO of Kyocera Document Solutions UK

Print and managed IT services company, Xeretec Group, has announced the appointment of Rod Tonna-Barthet as its non-executive chairman of the board.
His appointment aims to add further strategic perspective to the board and leadership team of Xeretec.
Tonna-Barthet arrives to the role with 30 years of executive leadership experience across banking, finance, and IT.
He worked in the banking sector for 20 years before joining the board of managed services provider, Annodata, in 2008.
Appointed chief executive officer of Annodata in 2015, after its sale to the Kyocera Corporation in 2016, Tonna-Barthet became president and chief executive officer of Kyocera Document Solutions UK.
Steve Hawkins, chief executive officer of Xeretec Group, says: “We’re thrilled to welcome Rod to Xeretec. His track record of transforming businesses and driving strategic growth is perfectly aligned with our mission to help our customers harness technology to work smarter, safer, and more efficiently.
“I’ve known Rod for over a decade, and in that time, we’ve built a strong relationship of trust and mutual respect. Along with our board and leadership team, I couldn’t be more excited to be working alongside him in this next chapter to take Xeretec to the next level.”
Currently the UK’s largest Xerox partner, Xeretec has reported “record results” in the last year, underpinned by sustained investment in becoming a diversified, technology-driven solutions provider.
In July, Xeretec announced the acquisition of managed services company, First Copy, aiming to further strengthen its service and reach.
Speaking of his new role at Xeretec, Tonna-Barthet says: “I’m honoured to join Xeretec Group at such a dynamic time.
“The transformation this business has driven in recent years has been remarkable – a real stand-out in an industry where many others have failed to adapt. That investment is paying off with real growth, and the energy and momentum in the company are clear.”
Speaking of the company’s aims following his appointment, he adds: “We will seek to further enhance relationships with our existing key partners, who have supported the growth of Xeretec over many years.
“In tandem we are excited to continue building new strategic relationships with key vendors, distributors and service providers, to ensure we always deliver the best outcome-based solutions and services for our customers.”
