Friedheim International, a UK supplier of print finishing, converting, and packaging technology, has been appointed as the exclusive UK sales representative for Sun Automation Group, a global leader in corrugated converting, automation, and material handling systems.

This new partnership expands Friedheim’s portfolio to include the full range of Sun Automation solutions including SUN proprietary equipment, Latitude Machinery Corporation (LMC) machinery, and PARA handling systems.

Sun Automation Group provides a comprehensive range of corrugated box production technology, with the products now offered through Friedheim encompassing advanced feeding, printing, and converting systems, as well as machine intelligence platforms and retrofit support for both modern and legacy equipment.

The agreement brings LMC’s industry-proven flexo folder-gluers, rotary die-cutters, and printer-slotters to the UK market under exclusive representation.

The LMC line of corrugated converting equipment ranges from the 660 x 1800mm Mini to the 2200 x 5500mm Jumbo, with sizes to support various box plant requirements.

Additionally, Friedheim will deliver PARA’s full portfolio of material handling solutions including pre-feeders, palletisers, stackers, and in-plant transport systems.

In a statement following the news, Friedheim International says: “Friedheim’s UK customers will benefit from direct access to this comprehensive suite of corrugated automation solutions, backed by Friedheim’s established sales, installation, and after-sales support network.”

Last year, Agfa also announced the appointment of Friedheim International as a UK reseller for its advanced wide-format inkjet printing solutions, with the partnership aiming to strengthen access to Agfa’s hybrid, flatbed, and roll-to-roll systems in the UK market.
