James Pittick has been hired as the new sales director for Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK as part of the company’s wider transformation goals
Graham Hunstone, managing director of recently acquired print provider, Visual Print & Design, has been hired as head of partnerships by fellow UK printer, Solopress

Graham Hunstone, the previous managing director for Visual Print & Design, has moved to a new role at Solopress, where he will work as its new head of partnerships.
Hunstone headed commercial printing and graphic design company, Visual Print & Design, for 16 years, as part of a 30-year career in the UK printing industry.
Visual Print & Design was acquired by Swindon-based litho and digital print provider, Jamprint, earlier this year, with Hunstone temporarily joining Jamprint as its commercial director to assist with a smooth transition.
Hunston announced his new role on LinkedIn, saying: “I’m excited to be joining Solopress, one of the UK’s largest print companies, as head of partnerships.
“After more than 30 years in the print industry, including building and growing Visual Print & Design over the last 16 years, I am looking forward to a new challenge and the opportunity to work with such an ambitious and forward-thinking business.”
In his new role at ecommerce-driven print fulfilment company, Solopress, Hunstone will support the rollout of an advanced technology platform being developed for print management companies and agencies.
In the LinkedIn post announcing his new role, Hunston says that this platform is “embracing automation, smarter workflows, AI driven efficiencies, and modern customer engagement tools.”
He adds: “Helping support the rollout and development of this platform will be a major focus for me moving forward and I genuinely believe it has the potential to modernise how businesses manage print and customer communication.
“I’m looking forward to developing new partnerships, creating opportunities, and reconnecting with many familiar faces across the industry.”
Solopress was also recently announced as the first UK company to install a RICOH Pro VC80000 high speed inkjet press.
The investment is said to be a part of a £2m+ investment by Solopress which aims to boost its digital print capacity by around 80%, strengthening its production capabilities and turnaround times in the process.
Solopress’ investment includes the VC80000 as well as a Ricoh C9500 toner engine and a Horizon Ice StichLiner Mark V which was purchased from Intelligent Finishing Systems (IFS).
