A UK print house has scored a major boost in orders due to England’s success in the FIFA World Cup 2026, reflecting a wider surge in the print industry caused by England’s current success at the tournament.

The England team’s early morning victory against Mexico has led to numerous inquiries to online print company, Where the Trade Buys (WTTB), for promotional materials ahead of the next round match against Norway.

The UK print company has offered to support outlets wanting to show their support for the England team by offering branded PVC banners, Foamex boards, magnetic van signs, and even paper clappers to showcase their venue.

WTTB is also offering to help speed up the process by offering the use of some of their England themed design templates, which can be personalised with a company logo and can be delivered in time for Saturday’s game.

Emma Thompson, head of marketing at WTTB, says: “Even before the World Cup began, we were in the grip of football fever. With so many fan zones popping up and bars and pubs wanting to entice fans to watch the games at their establishments, we were inundated with requests for football branded materials.

“Now that England are doing so well there are even more places wanting to get in on the action – and we’re all geared up to help them to do that.”

Thompson outlines that football-related artwork has been in such demand because venue owners are looking for more ways to entice fans into their space.

Thompson adds: “The whole country wants to be in on the action, and this offers a great opportunity for pubs, clubs, and bars – in fact any hospitality venue – to really market themselves. While football is of course the main sport on everyone’s mind, it’s worth bearing in mind that this kind of collateral is great for any sporting occasion.”

The FIFA World Cup 2026 has caused a significant jump in print orders across the UK print industry which has meant commercial printers have experienced a substantial surge in demand, driven by corporate marketing campaigns, localised fan events, and rapid advancements in on-demand manufacturing.

Wide-format print orders have also risen dramatically, with pubs, fan zones, and retail outlets buying up point-of-sale (POS) displays, outdoor banners, and window vinyls to attract crowds.

UK online retailers have already reported record levels of football-related spending ahead of the World Cup, with data from Adobe Analytics revealing that England shirt and merchandise sales had risen 765% against average daily spend levels in the week ending June 3rd.

This boost in orders was also seen by custom card printer, Moonpig, which has already sold more than 50,000 cards in their World Cup-themed range as of late June.

Other printed items seeing an uptick in sales includes wallcharts, tournament sweepstake kits, and office tournament brackets.re than 50,000 cards in their World Cup-themed range as of late June.
