Page Bros acquires greeting card publisher Green Pebble
Page Bros has announced its latest acquisition, purchasing greeting card publisher Green Pebble in order to formalise an existing creative partnership
The deal secures the future of the long-established manufacturer, safeguards 33 jobs and expands Mailway’s in-house capabilities across design, production, fulfilment, and retail packaging services
Bradford-based Mailway Packaging Group has expanded its retail display and packaging capabilities with the acquisition of Derbyshire point-of-sale (POS) display manufacturer, Derwent Displays.
The acquisition was completed in July following the appointment of joint administrators from Begbies Traynor Group (BTG) to manage Derwent Packaging. The deal will see the Denby-based business continue trading as Mailway Displays from its current East Midlands manufacturing.
In addition, 33 jobs within the existing Derwent business will be saved as a result of the deal.
Founded in 1994, Derwent designs and manufactures temporary POS displays, retail packaging, and fulfilment solutions for brands, marketing agencies, and print management companies across the UK.
As the Derwent business manages the full production process in-house, from design and manufacture through to fulfilment, this will strengthen Mailway’s existing offering across retail packaging services.

Gateley Legal advised the joint administrators, with Hill Dickinson acting for the purchaser on the deal.
