Fedrigoni has been announced as the latest industry partner for the Gallus Experience Center in Switzerland, allowing its substrates to be tested with Gallus printers in real production environments

Label printing press manufacturer, Gallus Group, has announced a new collaboration with Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives, with Fedrigoni becoming the latest industry partner to join the Gallus Experience Center in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
The partnership sees Fedrigoni's range of self-adhesive materials take up residence at the centre, allowing converters and industry partners to evaluate their substrate performance alongside Gallus printing technologies in real production environments.
Fedrigoni offers a varied portfolio of papers and films developed for premium labelling applications, with particular expertise in wine and spirits, luxury packaging, pharma, home, and personal care.
The new partnership also builds on the commercial launch of Gallus MatteJet, a proprietary matte-finishing technology developed to solve the inherent glossy finish of inkjet ink.
Following the MatteJet’s growing adoption in premium label applications, Gallus will team up with Fedrigoni with the aim of accelerating the development and validation of new solutions, with an initial focus on the wine and spirits market.
Dario Urbinati, chief executive officer of Gallus Group, says: “As an industry, we achieve more when we foster innovation through collaboration, bringing together ideas, knowledge, and expertise. That principle has always been at the heart of the Gallus Experience Center, and why we continue to build our valued partner network.
“More than his, however, converters today need confidence that the technologies they invest in will perform together in a real production environment. By welcoming Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives to the Gallus Experience Center, we can provide customers the opportunity to test, validate, and refine complete solutions before taking them into production, providing exactly that assurance.”
Gallus and parent company, HEIDELBERG, operate as system integrators, bringing together partners across the value chain with the aim of enabling customers to validate end-to-end production solutions offering more productivity, transparency, and sustainability benefits.
Its partnerships aim to further expand the collaborative ecosystem behind Gallus and Heidelberg’s vision for smart, connected printing.
Other partners at the Gallus Experience Center include specialised coatings producer, ACTEGA, automation and workflow specialist, Esko, and materials manufacturer, Avery Dennison.
