HEIDELBERG UK has announced the appointment of Neil Fletcher as its new sales and product director, as well as assuming the role of interim managing director of HEIDELBERG UK.
The appointment of Fletcher as interim managing director follows the news on October 30th that Ryan Miles had left HEIDELBERG by mutual agreement, seven years after taking on the role of managing director for the UK region.
HEIDELBERG has stated that the management team and organisational structure of HEIDELBERG UK will remain otherwise unchanged.
In his role as sales and product director, effective from November 2nd, Fletcher will be tasked with further strengthening HEIDELBERG UK’s position as a partner to the printing industry.
Fletcher arrives to the role having previously served HEIDELBERG UK for 23 years in a variety of senior sales and management positions. He most recently worked as the head of sales for BFS Pressroom Solutions, having been appointed to the role in February.
Commenting on his appointment, Fletcher says: “I am delighted to take on the role at HEIDELBERG UK. We have a strong team, an exceptional portfolio of solutions, and a highly loyal customer base. I look forward to working closely with our customers and colleagues to help businesses succeed through innovation, automation, and sustainable growth.”
Jochen Bender, head of EMEA region at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, adds: “Neil is a highly respected leader with an excellent understanding of our business, our customers, and the wider print market. His leadership, industry knowledge, and commitment to customer success are a great fit to expand our market presence and deliver value to customers across the UK.”
