Kyocera Document Solutions UK has become an official partner of Queen’s Park Rangers (QPR), marking the beginning of a collaboration including elite sport sponsorship, community projects, supporting women's sports, and bringing technology to the local area.

The new partnership will see Kyocera become back-of-shirt sponsor of QPR FC Women while also including stadium and concourse advertising.

For Kyocera, a provider of commercial print and office hardware and technologies, the collaboration will aim to not only provide brand visibility on matchdays but also support communities and create opportunities at QPR’s West London base.

The company has positioned its sponsorship as playing a part in providing greater visibility for women in sport, reflecting its wider focus on diversity and inclusion.

Kyocera has also highlighted QPR in the Community Trust, the registered charity arm of the football club which uses football to support positive change locally with programmes built around health, education, social inclusion, and participation.

Kyocera has noted that the charity’s work closely complements its own focus on social value and on making a positive contribution beyond its immediate commercial activities.

The neighbourhood around QPR's stadium in White City, London has also been positioned as a perfect place for Kyocera to find new corporate clients, with the area now serving as a major tech hub that includes a number of modern businesses and the home of Imperial College’s new tech-focused campus.

Steve Doust, the group sales director at Kyocera Group UK who spearheaded the partnership, says: “From the beginning, we wanted this to be more than putting the Kyocera name alongside a football club. QPR has a real connection with its community and an ambition to make a positive difference and we saw a lot of our own values reflected in that.

“Supporting QPR FC Women is something we’re particularly proud of. Women’s football has tremendous momentum and we want to play a part in supporting its continued growth, while reinforcing our own commitment to diversity, inclusion, and opportunity.”

Neil Sayer, QPR's business development manager, adds: "I'm really pleased to have got this partnership over the line. It's been fantastic getting to know the team at Kyocera and finding ways we can work together. We're delighted to have them on board at QPR and I'm really excited about what we can achieve together."
